Private tours start from 75 euro per hour (minimum 2 hours). Variables such as high or low season and the number of people can affect the fee.
Please remember that being the Basilica an active church it can be closed to the visit due to unforeseen circumstances, such as flooding, safety reasons, unscheduled religious services and official visits. Access to the Basilica is only permitted to visitors with suitable attire (no shorts or vest or tops) and backpacks are not allowed for safety reasons; next to the church there is a lock-room free of charge.
The fee does not include the entrance to museums.
